It was a beautiful day for a run, and 800 people came out to Run For Justice on a golden November day, raising more than $15,000 for Atlanta Legal Aid's general operating fund.

Atlanta Legal Aid's Executive Director, Steve Gottlieb, came out to thank and encourage the runners and volunteers, holding his recently broken elbow, and lamenting, "I really thought I could win the whole thing this year. . . . Really, no kidding! . . . . I could have, maybe, . . . Stop laughing!"

Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart won the firm participation award for the fifth year in a row.

LexisNexis won the sponsor participation this year.
