Current Openings Staff Attorney, Decatur Office Interns Please note that internships are available only for law school students. Volunteers If you are a senior attorney who is scaling back or retiring, we are looking for you! Please have a look at our Senior Attorney Project. There are poor people in Atlanta who desperately need your expertise! On occasion, the Atlanta Legal Aid Society can accommodate volunteers. While we cannot use individuals without legal experience in most circumstances, those willing to make a significant commitment of time or those with legal experience may submit application materials for consideration. We have no ability to use volunteers outside of normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are interested in making application for a volunteer position, please provide the following: • A cover letter stating your availability, your area of interest, the period of time you are willing to commit to the program, and fluency in any language other than English, especially Spanish; • A resume; • Two references; TO: Phyllis McKay OR e-mail pamckay @ atlantalegalaid .org No telephone calls please. |
